I have been seeing Dr. Peterson at Bronson OB/GYN Associates in Portage for several years and have always felt comfortable and have an enormous amount of trust with their providers and staff.
When I got pregnant, I chose Bronson because it’s the safest place to be for me and my baby. Especially because the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is right here in the Bronson Children’s Hospital if my baby needs a higher level of care. Luckily, we didn’t need it—but it always eases my mind that it’s ready if we do.
My experience at the Bronson Birthplace was phenomenal. I have the utmost trust in Dr. Peterson—who has delivered all three of my kids—and I can’t thank him enough for the great care he’s given us. The nurses are the absolute best at what they do. I wish I could remember all of their names to shout them out individually.
My most recent nurse helped me through great anxiety during my c-section and her poor shoulder took the brunt of my nervousness while getting the spinal. She did nothing but smile and encourage me the entire time. I apologized over and over again for potential hurting her. She was so genuine and I felt she really cared about me and baby.
In 2014, during an incredibly scary emergency c-section from my second son, I had a nurse, I believe her name is Darcy, who never left my side. She even came to see me in the mother baby unit to make sure we were still doing well. That is going above and beyond and a perfect example of Bronson’s exceptional care.
One of the other things I love is Bronson MyChart. It’s so easy to see my after-visit summaries from appointments for me and my kids. Plus, it makes refilling medicine so easy.
Now, I have three growing boys and am loving every minute of it! I would absolutely recommend Bronson to anyone who is having a baby.
